Flooding in Bangkok.

I have just received a notification from my Company that all travel to Bangkok has been suspended until after 7th November 2011 – due to critical flooding.

 

So, I will now be flying directly to Singapore from CPH but with one transfer in …. wait for it! …yes BANGKOK. Apparently Bangkok international Airport (Suvarnabhumi) will not be affected by the flooding (so they say), just down-town Bangkok.

Never mind, I will get a lot of other opportunities to visit Thailand when I have to visit our turbine site which lies about 250 km north of Bangkok.

SINGAPORE here I come J
