Day 3 was a normal working day from 0800 to 1800 hrs.
Remember that last time I explained about this little oblong box that all car had to have … well here’s a photo. The funny thing was that I couldn't stop laughing at Rene because on the way to the Singapore Flyer he took a wrong turning quite a few times and unfortunately this was in the area where there were toll roads … so we drove back and forth and Rene’s scanner box was beeping all the time and eve time it beeped cost him about SG $ 3,00 (DKK 12,00) … but we got there eventually.

OK … the Singapore Flyer. Rene and his family to me to the Singapore Flyer which is Singapore ’s answer to the London Eye in the UK . It was just like boarding an aircraft as we were given a boarding pass and had to go through security. It was an absolutely fantastic trip which took exactly 30 minutes. And I can tell you … Singapore by night is something to see. Hope that the following pictures I took will give you a good impression.
One thing I noticed when nearly at the top was a huge floodlit area. I was told that this was Singapore ’s Golf Club and that you played golf by night. Cool.

After the Singapore Flyer I was taken to Arab Street in Kampong Glam. This is one of
Just up the street from where we ate was a Mosque (predominantly Muslim area) where prayers were being held … we tried to get in and have a look (visitors were allowed) but we were told that it was closed.
Drove back to the hotel around 2230 hrs.
Paragraphs from a tourist brochure:
First-time visitors to Singapore are in for a pleasant surprise. The city-state is spotlessly clean (think an Asian Zurich) and well organized with lots of great shopping with regular sales, great public transport, an enormous choice of dining out, extensive leisure and entertainment facilities and good security.
The city-state also has distinctive areas - each with its own traits and attractions. Orchard Road is well known for its shopping; Chinatown for its dining-out possibilities; Little India for its distinctiveness, and Sentosa Island for its leisure and fun opportunities. Even though Singapore is relatively small, it's jam-packed with areas waiting to be explored
And last but not least ...... Yeha Astrid ...
